At Raices Latin Fusion, every dish tells a story of family, tradition, and culture. Founded and managed by a Venezuelan family, Raices was created from a shared dream: to bring the warmth of Latin hospitality and the bold flavors of Venezuela to the heart of Lubbock.

What began as a small family restaurant quickly became a place where people gather not only for food, but for connection, community, and unforgettable experiences. The name “Raices,” meaning “roots,” represents the importance of family, heritage, and staying connected to where we come from.

The restaurant’s logo carries a special meaning. The seven stars represent the seven brothers and sisters of the family, while the Araguaney tree Venezuela’s national tree symbolizes strength, beauty, and national pride.

Every recipe is inspired by generations of home cooking, combining authentic Venezuelan flavors with a creative Latin fusion touch. From handcrafted arepas and savory empanadas to flavorful meats, homemade sauces, and traditional sides, each plate is prepared with passion, fresh ingredients, and attention to detail.
